Circuit Training Circuit training is an efficient and challenging form of conditioning. It works well for developing strength, endurance (both aerobic and anaerobic), flexibility and coordination.

This training method versatility has made it popular with the general public right through to elite athletes. For sports men and women, it can be used during the closed season and early pre-season to help develop a solid base of fitness and prepare the body for more stressful subsequent training.

Circuit training is a great way to combine cardio and strength if you're short on time. The workout may consist of two or more circuits, each with a number of strength/cardio exercises that are completed one right after the other, with little or no rest in between. Do each exercise for the specified amount of time (or as long as you can safely do so) and then move on to the next exercise. Once you complete all exercises, that is considered one circuit.
